What’s Included in an All-Inclusive Safari?

An all-inclusive luxury safari usually covers accommodation, all meals, most drinks (including house wines and spirits), scheduled game drives and activities, and laundry. What varies is whether park fees, light-aircraft flights, private vehicles and premium drinks are included, and tips are almost never included.

  2. Are flights between camps included?
  3. Is the vehicle private or shared?
  4. Which drinks are included?
  5. Are airstrip transfers included?
  6. What are the cancellation and change terms?
  7. Is travel insurance required, and what must it cover?

Why “all-inclusive” prices vary

Two quotes for the same camp can look very different because one includes park fees, flights and a private vehicle and the other doesn’t. We show every inclusion and exclusion line by line in our quotes, so you can compare fairly. See how much a luxury Tanzania safari costs for typical totals.

FAQs

Are drinks included on a luxury safari?

Usually yes: soft drinks, local beers, house wines and spirits. Premium wines, champagne and top-shelf spirits are often extra.

Are park fees included in safari prices?

Sometimes. Many luxury lodges include them, and others charge separately. Always check.

Is a safari cheaper if it is all-inclusive?

Not necessarily cheaper, but easier to budget. Few extras appear on your final bill.
